Are you curious about handstands but don’t know where to begin? Fitness instructors Stella and Margarita have a combined 25 years of competitive gymnastics experience as accomplished level 10 athletes. In this 4 part series, we’ll cover handstands from the ground up:
Sessions are held on Wednesday nights: 7:30-8:45 pm
1. July 8th: Fundamentals: basic form, how to spot, how to fall out of a handstand, basic progressions
2. July 15th: Core handstand technique/conditioning, wall progressions, building handstand-specific strength
3. July 22nd: Tips and tricks + holding handstands, protecting the body from overuse
4. July 29th: Open practice with hands on adjustments/spotting and recommendations
