  • Read routes effectively before leaving the ground

  • Identify pacing specific to the terrain and style of route to conserve energy through crux sequences.

  • Identify and utilize resting positions

  • Refine movement and technique to eliminate inefficiencies

  • Develop a clear redpoint strategy to link sections and send with confidence

If you’ve been falling just short of the chains, this class will give you the tools to climb smarter, conserve energy, and finally clip the send.

Lead: Embracing The Fall

Embracing the Fall Clinic

Falling is an essential part of lead climbing, but it’s also the part many climbers fear the most which is 100% normal. The anticipation of a fall can impact decision-making, movement, and ultimately your ability to climb at your best.

In our Embracing the Fall Clinic, our experienced instructors will guide you through the mental and technical aspects of falling in a supportive and controlled environment. You’ll learn practical tools to help you move past fear and build trust in both yourself and your belayer.

During this clinic, climbers will practice taking falls and work on giving soft catches, helping create more comfortable falling experiences for everyone involved. Our instructors will assess each climber and help set individualized goals so you can continue progressing beyond the clinic.

This clinic is perfect for lead climbers of all levels who want to build confidence, improve belayer communication, and develop a healthier relationship with falling.

While a single clinic won’t completely eliminate the fear of falling, it will provide you with the skills, strategies, and confidence to continue practicing. Your instructor will also provide “homework” so you can keep building these skills in your regular climbing sessions.

Come learn to fall better, climb with more confidence, and unlock your next level of performance.
